The Inspiration Behind This Collection
This is one of my most personal projects, inspired by my own bilingual experience and by raising our daughters in a Spanish-speaking home while they grow up surrounded by English.
Our everyday Spanglish; the playful mixing of two languages, inspired me to create a Spanish-English alphabet that celebrates bilingualism, creativity, and cognitive flexibility.
More than an alphabet, this collection celebrates language, identity, family, culture, and the beautiful experience of growing up between two worlds.

Hi there—I'm Maria, a photographer, illustrator, and graphic designer with a profound love for all things visual.
My passions span children's book illustrations, street photography, fine art and watercolours. With a background in fine art, where drawing was my favorite subject, I strive to create illustrations that bring joy and make people feel valued. I especially enjoy crafting custom-made illustrations that resonate personally with each client.
